None of That

None of That

Speaking of the track, Mel blue say - "'None Of That' encapsulates the tension of wrestling with your anger whilst trying to understand it and using it to grow. At 170 bpm, it’s the highest tempo we reach on the album. It also might be the most heavily UK- inspired, with a close reference to the jungle of Sully and Tim Reaper, and the beautiful slowly evolving drum and bass of LTJ Bukem. The moody chords in the song we played on an old Korg Delta in the studio we were working in. It was also the first time Serum made its way onto a Mel Blue song. The production choices were representative of the choices we had to make in our own lives at the time- to be brave, open-minded, and willing to accept that the future (or music we write) could happen totally differently to what we expected. To have Sycco on the track is an absolute privilege. We are such huge fans and dear friends of Sycco. Zorb is an album we are still obsessed with. Oscar produced Buttered Up along with Sycco and Chrome Sparks, so to have Sycco on our own album is a really special full circle moment. "
