Vigo36" is the name of a rock bar in Mannheim, Germany. The fact that this venue is also regularly frequented by local jazz musicians adds a unique atmosphere to the bar. This atmosphere has been captured by Mannheim-based saxophonist and Vigo36 regular Carl Krämer in his composition, which he performed in April 2024 at the Bix Jazz Club in Stuttgart. Rhythmically and harmonically intricate power chord riffs meet wild melodies and high-energy horn sounds.
