Mole aus Saarbrücken machten ehrlichen Punk Rock mit Emo-Core-Einschlag – roh, direkt und doch voller Herz. Anfangs inspiriert von Bands wie Bad Relegion, NOFX und Propagandhi – später von Bands wie Starmarket, Samiam und Texas Is the Reason - begann alles, als vier Freunde den Wunsch hatten, selbst Musik zu machen. Die ersten Instrumente wurden gemeinsam gekauft, die ersten Proben liefen noch im Wohnzimmer der Eltern, die ersten Gigs auf Partys von Freunden. Ihre Wurzeln liegen in der Skate- und Punk-Kultur: Freundschaft, Zusammenhalt, Rebellion und die Freiheit, Dinge selbst in die Hand zu nehmen. Musik bedeutet für Mole nicht nur laute Gitarren, sondern auch eine Haltung – Offenheit, Toleranz und der Glaube an eine Szene, in der alle zusammenhalten. Später zog die Band in einen selbst augebauten Keller, der zum Zentrum ihres Sounds und ihrer Freundschaft wurde. In the early days, they were inspired by bands like Bad Religion, NOFX, and Propagandhi; later, by acts such as Starmarket, Samiam, and Texas Is the Reason. It all began when four friends decided they wanted to make music themselves. The first instruments were bought together, the first rehearsals took place in their parents’ living rooms, and the first gigs were played at friends’ parties. Their roots lie in skate and punk culture: friendship, solidarity, rebellion, and the freedom to take things into their own hands. For Mole, music meant more than loud guitars – it was an attitude: openness, tolerance, and the belief in a scene where everyone stands together. In time, the band moved into a basement they had rebuilt themselves – it became the heart of their sound and the center of their friendship.
