Mirrors was written in the winter mid lockdown. I was moving furniture compulsively, trying to get my house to be a more comfortable place to exist in, but coming up against the reality that I wasn't very comfortable in myself. Also, consumerism etc. Bought a lot of shit I couldn't actually afford. It made my house look prettier and made me feel deep shame.
