The silence is torn by a loud hiss and I see the door slowly opening. As I unfasten my seatbelt, I feel much less resistance than expected. Almost light-footed, I wriggle out of my vehicle and take a leap onto the barren soil. My shoes kick up dust, almost as if an aura traces their silhouette. I look around and enjoy the harsh vast. I catch a breath and get back behind the wheel. A quick glance, a pause, then I hit the gas and enjoy the rush.
