After more than a decade of success in the EDM scene, with releases on iconic labels like Spinnin’ Records, Revealed Recordings, Protocol Recordings, and Smash The House, as well as performances on some of the world’s biggest stages including Tomorrowland, Ultra Miami, World Club Dome, and Sunburn Festival, ANGEMI returns with an emotional new single: "Highs & Lows." Paying homage to the golden era of Progressive House, Highs & Lows takes inspiration from artists such as Martin Garrix, Third Party, DubVision, Matisse & Sadko, Nicky Romero, and of course, Avicii. “I wrote Highs & Lows as a tribute to the EDM industry,” says ANGEMI. “The lyrics are filled with references to tracks that shaped my musical journey, including nods to classics like ‘Save The World’ by Swedish House Mafia, ‘Reload’ by Sebastian Ingrosso, and ‘Gold Skies’ by Martin Garrix, just to name a few.” Co-written with the incredibly talented Jeffrey James, the track blends epic melodies, heartfelt lyrics, and lush production into an anthem that’s both nostalgic and fresh. “The song is an introspective look at my own career. I’ve reached incredible highs, but often felt a deep void once the lights fade. It made me realize that the only thing that truly remains are the memories. That’s why I wrote the bit : ‘memories will always stay.’” The production process took over a year, involving multiple versions and the contribution of real musicians to bring my vision to life. “This song went through countless transformations,” ANGEMI shares. “But I knew I had to get it just right. The final result is something I’m truly proud of.” With Highs & Lows, ANGEMI aims to reignite the spirit of Progressive House, reimagining it through a 2025 lens.
